Power Your Home with Free Energy from the Sun

With Solar PV, Irish homeowners can slash electricity bills, reduce dependence on the grid, and access generous SEAI grants — all while boosting home value.

What is Solar PV?

Solar PV (Photovoltaic) systems convert daylight into electricity, helping you power your
home using clean, renewable energy — even on cloudy Irish days.

  • Panels are mounted on your roof or external structure
  • Electricity is generated and used instantly in your home
  • Excess power can be stored or exported to the grid for savings

The result: lower bills, increased energy independence, and long-term home sustainability.

Is My Home Suitable?

Most Irish homes are ideal candidates for solar PV. Your property is likely suitable if it has:

  • A pitched or flat roof with sunlight exposure
  • Minimal shading (trees, chimneys, etc.)
  • Available roof space (typically 15–25m2 for 2–6kW)
  • Daytime energy usage (home during daylight = more benefit)

We’ll assess roof orientation, shading, and electrical load during your free solar survey.

SEAI Grants for Solar PV

The Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) offers solar grants for homeowners:

  • €900 per kWp (up to 2kWp = €1,800)
  • €300 for additional kWp (up to 4kWp total = €2,100 max)

Battery grants no longer apply, but adding one still boosts system efficiency.

We manage your full grant application process.

Optional Add-Ons

  • Battery Storage (store daytime energy for night-time use)
  • Smart Diverters (heat water using surplus energy)
  • EV Chargers (fuel your electric car for free!)
  • Monitoring App (track usage and performance in real time)

  • We recently had exterior insulation installed on our home and couldn’t be happier with the experience. From start to finish, the project was handled with professionalism and care. A special thanks to Colm, our project manager, who was absolutely fantastic throughout. He was always available, kept us informed at every stage, and made the whole process feel smooth and well-organized. His communication and attention to detail really stood out. The installation team were equally impressive, skilled, efficient, and clearly very experienced. They worked diligently and respectfully. The end result has made a big difference to our home, both in terms of comfort and appearance.
