We recommend a free survey to confirm suitability, but generally:
- For solid‑wall and hollow‑block homes
- Homes with poor insulation or constant cold spots
- Properties undergoing renovation or redecoration
- Detached, semi-detached and terraced homes with sufficient external space
If your home has cavity walls, Cavity Wall Insulation may be a more cost-effective solution.
Our External Wall Insulation System
We use high-performance EWI systems trusted across Ireland and Europe.
- Insulation Boards: Typically 100mm Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) or 120mm Mineral Wool
- Fixing Method: Mechanically fixed + adhesive
- Finish Options: Acrylic render, dry dash, brick slip or colour-tinted coatings
- Breathable, weatherproof and long-lasting

In most cases, no. If you’re changing the external appearance significantly (e.g., a colour change in protected structures), we’ll advise.
